I'm an Atlanta-based journalist and Chicago native. I moved south to attend Emory University, and four years later, I graduated with a bachelor's degree (double major in economics and sociology). I worked for almost two years as a social media director, drawing up promotions and scheduling tweets for large restaurant brands. I quit to work for Paste Magazine, a online entertainment publication, where I became an editor for a few years. In September 2012, I joined forces with Creative Loafing, Atlanta's main alternative weekly paper, as a staff writer. I freelance a bit too (see the column on the right).
